If you're looking to lay down some serious firepower, this hefty beast has got you covered!

Realistically constructed from alloy, real wood and polymer, this electronically powered 6mm BB Airsoft replica is an incredibly authentic replica of the instantly recognisable WW2 era MG42, the infamous “Hitler’s Buzzsaw”.

Just like the real MG42, this replica is predominantly constructed from durable alloy, with a real wood stock and a polymer pistol grip. The grip is a very convincing recreation of the brown Bakelite plastic favoured by German weapon designers of the 1930s. The wooden stock is hollow, and contains the battery storage compartment. Not only does this Airsoft gun look like an MG42, but it also feels and handles like the real thing!

The real MG42 was designed as a general-purpose machine gun (GPMG), designed to be used both as an infantry and vehicle weapon, and the Airsoft gun accurately recreates many of the real design features. Just like the real thing, Airsofters can use the MG42 replica as a manoeuvrable squad support weapon, or as a static medium support weapon. The weapon’s ironsights are fully adjustable, and even feature the flip up anti-aircraft gunnery sights, used to allow vehicle crews to engage low-flying aircraft.

The bipod is quick and easy to deploy, allowing you to set up a fixed and stable firing position in seconds. The height of each leg is independently adjustable, allowing users to deploy in a wide range of terrain conditions. The bipod can even be completely removed if you wish to use the MG42 in a more agile, lightweight and mobile form.

The magazine is a replica of the MG34 and MG42’s compact 50 round drum magazine – although being Airsoft, this replica contains a satisfying 2500 Airsoft BB rounds. To ensure that the Airsoft gun fires efficiently, the magazine’s automatic feed system is hardwired into the MG42, meaning that every time you pull the trigger the magazine will automatically wind ammunition and feed the gun. It’s an incredibly well-designed system which is both efficient and reduces the chance of miss-feeds. The magazine is conveniently powered by 4x AA batteries, meaning that replacements are easy to acquire.

Realistically constructed and very well made, this replica MG42 is perfect for both historical reenactors and Airsoft skirmishers alike. Whether you’re looking to complete a period-accurate and authentic loadout, want to add a support weapon to your Airsoft arsenal, or simply want to own a replica of one of the most infamous and successful machinegun designs ever made,
